This tour was so well-balanced: flowers, forest, history, and food. Thomas guided us gently, with a calm energy that let us fully soak in each place. Sa Dec flower village is a living mosaic. Not touristy at all — locals actually tending to their blooms. The Xeo Quyt forest took me by surprise; it was like entering a hidden jungle. Floating silently through the water, with birds overhead and vines all around, felt otherworldly. The house in Sa Dec was a lovely end — quiet, preserved, full of charm. Thank you, Thomas, for making this such a peaceful and meaningful day.
Fantastisk tur!
This was one of the most rewarding day trips I’ve done in Vietnam. Minh was a fantastic guide — energetic, well-informed, and fun to chat with. Sa Dec flower village was like stepping into a fragrant dream. I never knew there were so many types of flowers here! Then, Xeo Quyt forest — wow. That rowing boat journey was like entering a peaceful, secret world. Minh explained the wartime history with clarity and respect. And the final touch? That old colonial house from The Lover — intimate, graceful, and full of bittersweet romance. Everything flowed smoothly. Highly recommend!
I didn’t know much about this part of Vietnam before coming, but Danh opened it up with passion and warmth. The flower village was like a dream — you walk through rows and rows of blooming life, guided by locals who grow them year-round. Xeo Quyt forest felt sacred. Danh explained the history of the bunkers while we floated through ancient trees. You could feel the stillness in your bones. He let us take it all in without rushing. Lunch was delicious and local. I really appreciated that it wasn’t touristy. The old house in Sa Dec wrapped up the day with elegance. I still can’t get over how romantic it felt.
I’m so glad we booked this tour — it wasn’t rushed, yet we did so much in one day. David was friendly and very knowledgeable, sharing stories about the region that we’d never find in guidebooks. The flower village in Sa Dec was like a living art gallery. Everywhere you look: color, scent, texture. At Xeo Quyt, David helped us imagine how the swamp once hid soldiers during wartime — such a surreal contrast to the current peacefulness. And the Huynh Thuy Le house? I didn’t know the book or the movie beforehand, but now I’m reading The Lover because David made the story so fascinating. Smooth drive, great lunch, beautiful sites. Just excellent.
What a relaxing day away from the busy cities. Thomas made sure everything ran smoothly while letting us enjoy at our own pace. I loved how quiet and authentic the entire tour felt. Not crowded, not commercial. The flower village felt like walking through someone’s dream garden. At Xeo Quyt, we glided slowly under trees in silence. It was meditative. Thomas showed us old war shelters hidden in the swamp, adding unexpected depth to the experience. The visit to Huynh Thuy Le’s house was poetic. The love story and French architecture made it feel like a scene from an old film. Highly recommend this tour if you want a reflective day in the Delta.
We were blown away by how peaceful and refreshing this tour was. Hannah was lovely — calm, insightful, and very patient with our questions. The Sa Dec flower village was a feast for the senses. It’s not touristy at all, just locals growing thousands of flowers for Tet and other events. The sampan ride at Xeo Quyt was otherworldly. We could barely hear anything but birds and the oar in the water. Hannah told us about the Viet Cong bunkers hidden under the trees — it gave the forest a haunting depth. And the Huynh Thuy Le house? So poetic. An unexpected highlight of our Vietnam trip.
