I’ve done a few tours in Vietnam, but this one felt like the most real. Nothing staged. Just life — boats, families, farms. Hieu made sure we learned, laughed, and tasted everything. I even got emotional walking through the ficus forest where the VC used to hide. That history still lingers. A deep and tasty experience.
From the moment the boat left the pier, I felt like I was inside a postcard. The colors, the life, the warm smiles. Duy was thoughtful and made sure everyone was having a good time. I especially loved the cacao farm — tasted pure chocolate for the first time in years. The wetland forest was like therapy. Just go.
Floating market — ✔️ Rice noodle house — ✔️ Cacao tasting — ✔️ Biking — ✔️ Wetland trekking — ✔️ If you want a checklist of what makes the Mekong Delta special, this tour has it all. And more importantly, Hannah made it feel personal and meaningful, not rushed. Best spent day in the South.
Minh brought us through a day full of surprises — from a bowl of soup on a rocking boat, to homemade cacao milk under the shade of trees. The noodle-making family was so welcoming and let us try their pizza noodles (honestly delicious). We biked through quiet countryside and ended in the bird sanctuary where I just stood still, watching the sky full of wings. I felt lucky to see this side of Vietnam.
Chris was awesome — relaxed, funny, and knew everything. The morning started with noodle soup on the river, surrounded by the buzz of local boats. Then we watched rice noodles being made and even tried flipping one (harder than it looks!). The cacao farm was such a cozy stop, and the biking gave us a great view into rural life. But the forest part? So calm. Just birds, water, and peace. A beautiful, slow moment in a fast world.
I loved the early start. The air was cool, the river calm. We drifted into the market just as life was beginning. Hannah explained the fading of the floating culture with such care. We laughed a lot, ate well, biked through backroads, and tasted chocolate from Vietnamese cacao. Ending with the forest made me feel deeply connected. It’s not just a tour — it’s a day you’ll remember forever.
Not polished. Not staged. Just raw, peaceful, fascinating Mekong life. From boats selling pineapples to women cooking noodles at sunrise, everything was so human. Thomas gave context and let us feel. The forest walk at the end — birdsong, mud path, open sky — I’ll never forget it. This tour should be protected like the wetlands themselves.
