The tour starts from Chau Doc and drops off in Ha Tien. The 845-hectare Tra Su cajuput forest (planted from the 80s) is an ideal destination for nature lovers. Explore the nature & wildlife by boat & rowing sampan, enjoy enormous emerald-green duckweed as well as flocks of birds (seasonal), conquer the walking bamboo bridge in the forest in Vietnam.
When people ask me what to see in Mekong today. I tell them view our MekongDelta365.

Nowadays, there are more and more green and responsible tours which are meaningful and educational as well. This is why Can Tho noodle factory is getting popular for both Vietnamese and foreigners to come and explore the cuisine culture and the typical local life in Can Tho, Mekong Delta.

I almost didn’t book this, but wow — I’m so glad I did. Duy made the morning full of stories and insights. The forest is stunning. The birds! The light! The silence! Walking the bamboo bridge was fun (and Instagram-worthy 😉). The ride to Ha Tien was comfy and well-timed. Highly recommend if you love nature and calm.
Tra Su was beautiful, peaceful, green everywhere. David explained so many cool details, especially about the sugar palm and Khmer temples. We took the rowing boat through still water — birds were flying, trees were whispering. I could’ve stayed for hours. After that, the car transfer to Ha Tien was smooth and quiet — a perfect ending to a magical morning.
Hannah is super sweet and attentive. She shared cool facts about the forest and the birds. The sampan ride was slow and peaceful — I loved the way the trees arch above like a green tunnel. The bamboo bridge was a bit wobbly but fun! After all that, we were driven smoothly to Ha Tien. Great morning — I highly recommend it for anyone needing a nature break.
If you like peace, water, and trees, this tour is for you. Chris explained everything with great care — from the fish farms we passed to the story of Khmer Buddhism and the sugar palms along the way. The rowing boat in Tra Su was the calmest moment of my entire Vietnam trip. The bridge walk was cool too. The transfer to Ha Tien after that was efficient and allowed me to rest. Lovely.
Minh was excellent — his knowledge of the Mekong ecosystem and Khmer culture was eye-opening. I especially liked the quiet moment on the rowing sampan, drifting slowly with no noise. The bamboo walking bridge gave me one of my best travel photos. Even though the tour was just a few hours, I felt like I got a full experience. Transfer to Ha Tien was on time and gave me space to reflect. Grazie Minh!
Tra Su felt like nature was breathing. The stillness of the forest, broken only by bird calls and the soft splash of paddles, was healing. David, our guide, was funny and full of information about the flora and fauna — I didn’t expect to learn so much in just one morning. The sugar palms along the road were like sentinels of the delta. Transfer to Ha Tien was timely and smooth. Honestly, I wish it had lasted longer.
This morning tour with Thomas was peaceful and insightful. He spoke about the significance of Tra Su forest not only in nature, but also in local identity. The sampan ride was so quiet I could hear the paddle slice the water. Birds soared across the treetops. The bamboo bridge walk was short but photogenic. I loved that we didn’t rush. I made it to Ha Tien by noon, just in time for lunch. Tack Thomas!
The morning light filtered through the cajeput forest in a magical way. Danh, our guide, was full of heart and knowledge. He spoke softly, but everything he said felt like a key to understanding this place. I enjoyed the sampan ride most — such a contrast from the busy world we live in. Even the short hike to the lookout tower gave me goosebumps. The transfer to Ha Tien was just what I needed to digest the experience. Merci beaucoup, Danh!
Such a serene and gentle tour. Hannah had such a warm energy — she explained things in a way that was both informative and easy to relate to. Tra Su forest is like something out of a fairytale, especially the part with the small sampan boat. The lookout tower gave me a sweeping view of where I had just been — it felt surreal to look back from above. Then the car ride to Ha Tien gave me time to reflect. A wonderful goodbye to the inland, before heading seaside.
