¡Gracias, Danh!
Everything about this short tour felt unhurried and natural. Hannah is an excellent guide — calm, cheerful, and very knowledgeable. The coconut workshop was interesting (and tasty!), but what really stood out was the quiet sampan cruise. The canal was shaded, green, and totally peaceful — it felt like time slowed down. I also enjoyed the honey tea and fruit during the music break. The elephant ear fish at lunch was new to me and very crispy! A relaxing way to experience local life in a short time.
We were traveling with our two kids (ages 6 and 9), and this tour was a hit with both of them. Minh was kind, patient, and had such a fun energy — he even showed our daughter how to open a coconut properly! The candy-making part was a big highlight, and the horse cart ride had them giggling non-stop. The hand-rowed sampan ride was peaceful, and our son said it was like being in a jungle movie. Lunch was delicious, and everything felt safe and kid-friendly. Highly recommend for families.
Hannah was such a warm and engaging guide. From the moment she greeted us at the hotel, we felt welcomed. She made sure everyone in our small group got to try the coconut candy and even helped translate with locals. The canal ride was slow and serene, perfect for taking in the sounds of nature. I loved seeing the blend of tradition and daily life in the villages. Plus, the lunch was surprisingly satisfying for such a short tour. Great value, great guide, and a great way to see the Mekong without rushing.
If you only have a few hours in My Tho, do this tour. David made everything feel smooth and relaxed — he even brought wet wipes for us after the sampan ride (lifesaver!). I loved how local and calm everything felt. No crowds, just quiet countryside and smiling people. The traditional music performance was lovely, and I appreciated the effort to keep things authentic. The lunch was generous and tasty — especially the crispy elephant ear fish. I took so many photos on the canal; it’s like stepping into a postcard.
This tour was exactly what I needed after a few hectic travel days. Danh was a calming, friendly presence throughout. He shared lots of interesting facts about the Mekong region without overwhelming us. I loved seeing the coconut workshop — I didn’t realize coconuts could be turned into so many different things. The horse cart felt a bit touristy at first, but then riding through quiet village lanes changed my mind. The sampan ride was the best part — peaceful, green, and so close to nature. Our lunch was excellent too. Everything was well-paced and enjoyable.
Chris really made this tour enjoyable. He kept everything running smoothly and had great stories to share about life along the Mekong. I loved cruising past the floating houses and hearing about how people raise fish under their homes. The coconut candy stop was interactive and tasty — we even got to hold the molds! The cart ride was relaxing and a nice way to explore the village without rushing. Sampan ride = magical. And the lunch? That elephant ear fish was crispy perfection. Would definitely do this again with friends.
