Chris was wonderful — very approachable and full of interesting stories about the Delta. I really appreciated how he paced the day: nothing felt rushed, and there was always time to enjoy each spot. The canal ride was the most magical moment for me, with the water so calm and the trees arched overhead. The music and fruit tasting gave the tour a local touch I won’t forget. Loved the food too — the crispy fish, the fresh herbs, everything was perfect. It was a mellow, immersive, and memorable day.
Traveling with two kids (6 and 8) is never easy, but this tour was a perfect fit for the whole family. Hannah was patient, funny, and super engaging with the little ones. The coconut candy part was a hit — they loved watching the process and sampling everything. Riding in the horse cart was their favorite, while I enjoyed the calm of the hand-rowed boat. Lunch was generous, and our son even tried (and liked!) the elephant ear fish. It was a full but easy-paced day — perfect for families looking for culture without the chaos.
After a few hectic days in Ho Chi Minh City, this day trip felt like a breath of fresh air. David was incredibly knowledgeable and had a warm, relaxed style that put us at ease. The stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda was a lovely surprise — peaceful, with beautiful architecture. The boat ride was gentle and scenic, and I especially loved the little sampan ride through narrow canals. It felt like we were peeking into a quieter side of life. The lunch was amazing — elephant ear fish was delicious and beautifully presented. Such a great way to experience the Mekong Delta.
This was the kind of tour I hope for when visiting a new country. Thomas was knowledgeable and kind, with a natural flow to his storytelling. Watching the floating fish farms and seeing how people live directly above their catch was eye-opening. The highlight for me was the music session in the village with tropical fruits — it felt sincere and full of heart. Lunch was a treat: fish served with rice paper and herbs, DIY-style. It doesn’t get more authentic than that. The return to HCMC was smooth and on time.
Lâm made the whole experience smooth, insightful, and personal. He was so easy to talk to and shared stories from both local life and Vietnamese traditions. The coconut workshop was a highlight for me — it was fascinating to see how nothing goes to waste! We got to try coconut wine, candy, and even coconut-based handicrafts. I also really enjoyed the sampan ride under the shade of the palm trees — it was so relaxing. Everything felt just right — the pace, the flow, and even the timing. Totally worth the trip from HCMC.
We weren’t sure what to expect, but this tour exceeded all expectations. Hannah was an excellent guide, explaining both historical and cultural details in a way that kept everyone engaged — even our teenage kids. The boat ride on the Mekong was peaceful, and the coconut candy workshop gave us a hands-on glimpse into local life. The horse cart ride was surprisingly fun, and I found the traditional Vietnamese music performance unexpectedly moving. We also loved the lunch — the elephant ear fish was something new to us and beautifully prepared. A perfect family day.
Minh really made this experience outstanding. You can tell he loves his country and culture — it showed in the way he described everything from the coconut products to the spiritual meanings of the pagoda statues. The pace was perfect, and the boat rides were scenic and peaceful. What I liked most was the combination of activities: riding in a horse cart, watching a local band perform, cruising in a hand-rowed sampan, and eating fish I’ve never tried before. Everything felt genuine, not staged. Highly recommend!
