What a wonderful way to spend a day. Duy brought such warmth and local knowledge – we felt less like tourists and more like curious guests. The visit to the coconut house was more interesting than I imagined – especially how nothing is wasted! The hand-rowed boat through the canals was slow, quiet, and beautiful. My husband and I both said it was our favorite moment in Vietnam so far. Deeply recommend this tour.
¡100% recomendado!
Lâm had such gentle energy and deep respect for the local communities – we really appreciated that. Every part of the tour was thoughtfully paced: not rushed, not too slow. We loved walking through the small villages and learning about their traditions. The tuk-tuk ride was quirky and fun, and lunch was served in a garden so tranquil that we forgot we had to return to busy Saigon. A lovely, well-crafted tour.
We were impressed by how much we could see and experience in just a few hours. Hannah was insightful and warm, and her stories made each stop feel special. Watching locals weave mats by hand was humbling, and I’ll never forget the taste of the freshly made coconut candy. The boat rides – both the motorboat and the tiny sampan – gave us a whole new view of Vietnam. Far from the crowds, full of charm.
We honestly didn’t expect much from a one-day trip outside Saigon, but this Ben Tre experience with Danh turned out to be our absolute favorite. The coconut village was so rich in culture – Danh explained everything clearly and with a sense of humor. The Xe Lôi ride through those tiny rural roads was hilarious, and the lunch… oh wow, the elephant ear fish was so fresh and beautifully plated. Ending with the peaceful sampan ride felt like a dream. A huge thank you to the whole team!
Minh made us feel like friends, not tourists. Everything ran on time, the boat was comfortable, and every stop added something meaningful to the experience. I especially liked the coconut village – learning how the people make candy and oil by hand was eye-opening. The countryside was greener and more peaceful than I imagined. Lunch in the garden was delicious and beautifully presented. This was one of the most relaxing days I’ve had in Vietnam.
It was perfect for families! I traveled with my two boys (6 and 9), and they couldn’t stop talking about the coconut candy and the tuk-tuk ride. David was fantastic with children – he explained everything in a way they understood and kept them engaged the whole time. The mat weaving stop was hands-on, and my older son even tried it. Lunch was great (my picky eaters loved the spring rolls), and the rowing boat was a highlight. We came back to Saigon tired but happy.
We loved our one-day getaway to Ben Tre. Thomas met us at the boat station with the warmest smile and brought such calm energy to the day. The motorboat ride was already beautiful, but the coconut workshop was surprisingly fascinating. I didn’t know you could make so many products from coconuts! The Xe Lôi ride was hilarious – bumpy, fun, and so scenic. Lunch in the garden with elephant ear fish was one of the best meals we had in Vietnam. The sampan ride to close the day was peaceful and romantic. Worth every minute of the drive from Saigon.
