Thomas was brilliant — warm, funny, and knew how to balance guiding and letting us enjoy the atmosphere. I never thought I’d be fascinated by brick kilns or coconut shells, but he made it all interesting and relevant. The little boat ride under the coconut palms was my favorite. Just drifting, watching life go by. No rush, no stress. Absolutely lovely. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Alles sehr authentisch, ohne Massentourismus. Eine klare Empfehlung!
We booked this last minute and didn’t expect much — but what a surprise! Hannah brought the whole Mekong world to life. The sampan ride was pure calm, and the coconut workshop was hands-on and engaging, not touristy at all. The ride on the Xe Lôi through the countryside was a highlight — real families, waving kids, ducks waddling across the road. This was the Vietnam I was hoping to find. Short and sweet, but deeply memorable.
I chose this tour because I had just a free afternoon in Ben Tre, but it gave me way more than I expected. Thomas explained each stop with clarity and humor — I now see coconuts in a whole new light! The sampan ride was like slipping into another world. No big crowds, no staged shows. Just the river, trees, and honest lives. Thank you for this quiet yet powerful experience.
We weren’t expecting much from a half-day tour, but wow — this turned out to be one of the most meaningful experiences we had. Hannah made us feel welcome right away, and everything felt smooth, not rushed. We got to interact with locals, see how things are made, and enjoy peaceful boat rides under the coconut trees. It’s short but packed with authenticity. Bring a hat, and just soak it all in!
This tour gave me a rare few hours of peace — no traffic, no honking, just green, river, and genuine smiles. Minh was a gem. He was calm, knowledgeable, and let things breathe. I loved cruising slowly past the mangroves, waving to local kids, learning about coconuts and bricks (so much more interesting than I thought!), and the ride on the Xe Lôi felt like time travel. Wish I had done this earlier in my Vietnam trip.
I was surprised by how much we could see and feel in just a few hours. Duy was so lively and fun, sharing stories of his own childhood in the region. The coconut workshop was informative and tasty, but my favorite was the sampan ride through the quiet canals — like being in a hidden world. This was exactly what I needed: calm, cultural, not too long, but deep enough to make me reflect. I wish more short tours were like this.
